Frequently asked questions
What is VEA Care?
VEA Care is an alarm system that is specially designed to alert assistance in the event of an emergency. The alarms are quickly transmitted via a separate radio to dedicated alarm receivers, which clearly show the reason for the alert. The system is easy to set up and you can add more alarms as needed. The range can be extended to cover large buildings and multiple floors using signal amplifiers.
Where can I buy VEA Care?
Feel free to contact us for advice and sales. If you have your own agreements with technology suppliers, they will probably also help you.
How do I get notifications to my phone?
A separate gateway/app sender is set up, connected to the network and forwarded to the app on IOS and Android phones. The notification app, FlexiApp, can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play.
Requirements:
Wired network connection.
Preferably located centrally in the building, not very visible
Needs no contact with local LAN
Outgoing data ports:
80 http
443 https
8883 TCP/MQTT
Can I change the alarm strength?
Yes, you can change both the volume and light flashes on all detectors with a display. Alarms can also be set, for example, to alert only in the event of fire or other critical incidents.
In the event of a fire alarm, the alarm always sounds at full volume, regardless of personal settings.
How do I secure the system from errors?
VEA Care communicates via its own radio and will operate even when the internet network is down. The system has ‘No-single-point-of-failure’. This means that if one product falls out of the system or is damaged, it has no effect on the other alarm units. New devices are replaced with simple interconnection. A licence-based operating service is offered, which provides a good overview of the system and the possibility of remote assistance from our technicians.
